Regenerative Stem Cell Therapy:
Since 2005, the American Animal Hospital has offered adipose derived stem cell therapy. We were the first hospital in the Eastern United States to provide the complete service in house, and can now do the full procedure in one day, with patients walking out within a few hours. This proces is shown to regrow cartiledge and greatly improves mobility in dogs and cats afflicted by degenerative joint disease and arthritis.
Digital Radiology and Dental X-Ray
Our new digital radiology lab not only cuts down on waste, but keeps your pet's much safer. Delivering less than 10% the dose of radiation as it's modern traditional counterpart, our digital radiology is safer, more efficient and globally conscious.
Laser Surgery:
We are proud to be one of the few hospitals in New Jersey to offer laser surgery. The laser is used in place of a scalpel blade to vaporize a precise, thin layer of tissue.
- Less Pain - The laser seals nerve ending, effectively decreasing post operative pain.
- Less Bleeding - The laser also seals small blood vessels, decreasing blood loss and speeding surgery.
- Less Swelling - The laser is very precise, leaving surrounding tissues unharmed.
Please ask if the laser would be right for your pet's surgical procedure at American Animal Hospital.
If you would like more information about the American Animal Hospital, our staff would be happy to give you a tour of the entire facility and explain our services. We also welcome the opportunity to make presentations to schools, community groups, and children's organizations.
Dear Dr. Voynick,
I wanted to apprise you of Charlie’s status. Now 11 days after his stem cell procedure, he is doing fantastic! Exactly 5 days post stem cell procedure, changes started to occur. Since then, and visible on a daily basis, Charlie’s whole attitude has become increasingly more positive. He is vibrant and really, really happy. Each day he seems stronger and more easily able to get around, taking 1 – 2 walks a day on his own volition. I can’t wait to show you the pictures. His suture area is almost not even visible anymore. He has been eating with a great deal more enthusiasm. My husband and I agree that Charlie has had noticeable improvement and seems to be getting a bit “younger by the day”. He is doing the stairs more easily too and oh yes, that sore on his back paw is almost completely healed. Pretty unbelievable results overall for a 14 year old!
Hope you are very well,
Leslie
